IN THE MATTER OF FEEDING INMATES AND COMMISSARY SERVICE AT THE PANOLA COUNTY JAIL (ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS)
ORDER OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

THIS DAY there came on for consideration by the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, the need to advertise for bids for feeding of prisoners and commissary service at the Panola County Jail. After discussion, it was unanimously resolved that the following notice to bidders be published two (2) times in The Panolian, and centralbidding.com, to-wit:
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, will on the 8th day of September 2026, open and read sealed, competitive bids for the following services, to-wit:
FEEDING OF PRISONERS AND COMMISSARY SERVICE AT THE PANOLA COUNTY JAIL, ACCORDING TO THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AT THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR, 151 PUBLIC SQUARE, BATESVILLE, MISSISSIPPI
Sealed, competitive bids may be delivered to the Panola County Administrator’s Office, 151 Public Square, Batesville, Mississippi 38606, or mailed to the Panola County Administrator, P.O. Box 807, Batesville, Mississippi 38606 or electronic bids may be submitted at www.centralbidding.com until 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. The Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi will on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. open, read and award to the lowest and best bidder. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Please mark on the outside of the envelope of your proposal “COMMISSARY SERVICE”. The Board of Supervisors will not open or consider any proposal received after the hour on the date set forth above.
