TO: ED LITLE, AND/OR HIS HEIRS, ADMINISTRATORS AND/OR ASSIGNS; Any and all persons having or claiming any legal or equitable interest in and to the following described property:
A part of Block 14 and a part of Block 19 of the Juniata Reservation according to the official map of the Town of Sardis now on file in the Sardis Office of the Chancery Clerk of Panola County, Mississippi, more particularly described as:
Beginning at a point on the South line of Dewberry Street (as now established) a distance of 70 feet West of the point where the South line of Dewberry Street (as not established) intersects the West line of Magnolia Street (as now established), running thence in a Southerly direction parallel with the West line of Magnolia Street, a distance of 140 feet, thence West parallel with Dewberry Street a distance of 70 feet, thence in a Northerly direction parallel with the West line of Magnolia Street a distance of 140 feet to the South line of Dewberry Street, thence East along the South line of Dewberry Street a distance of 70 feet to the point of beginning- being the identical property conveyed by F.W. Klyce to William McKinley Harper and Martha Harper by deed dated October 10, 1945.
Being the same property described in Deed of Record Book A-28 at Page 236 in the Sardis Office of the Chancery Clerk of Panola County, Mississippi.
You have been made a Respondent in the Complaint filed in this Court by RASHAD FRANK an Order Quieting and Confirming Title to the above described property and for other relief. Other Respondents in this action are: Panola County, Mississippi, Lynn Fitch as Attorney General for the State of Mississippi, and District Attorney Jay Hale.
You are required to mail or hand deliver a written response to the Complaint filed against you in this action to James Andrew Yelton, Attorney for Plaintiff, whose post office address is P. O. Box 1615, Batesville, MS 38606, and whose street address is 357 Highway 51 North, Batesville, MS 38606.
YOUR RESPONSE MUST BE MAILED OR DELIVERED NOT LATER THAN THIRTY DAYS AFTER THE 25th DAY OF MARCH, 2026, WHICH IS THE DATE OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS SUMMONS. IF YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT SO MAILED OR DELIVERED, A JUDGMENT BY DEFAULT WILL BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU FOR THE MONEY OR OTHER RELIEF DEMANDED IN THE COMPLAINT.
You must also file the original of your Response with the Clerk of this Court within a reasonable time afterward.
