TO: UNKNOWN HEIRS AT LAW AND WRONGFUL DEATH BENEFICIARIES OF WOUNDER SMITH BAKER DECEASED
You have been made a defendant in a matter filed before this Court by Anthony House, seeking a determination of heirship and declaration of beneficiaries in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi. Those claiming to be lawful heirs of Wounder Smith-Baker are Anthony House.
You are required to mail or hand deliver a written response to the Petition filed in this action to D. Reid Wamble, Post Office Box 1950, Olive Branch, Mississippi 38654.
YOUR RESPONSE MUST BE MAILED OR DELIVERED NOT LATER THAN THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER THE 10th DAY OF June, 2026. WHICH IS THE DATE OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS SUMMONS. IF YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT SO MAILED OR DELIVERED, A JUDGMENT WILL BE ENTERED FOR THE RELIEF DEMANDED IN THE PETITION AND THIS COURT WILL ESTABLISH THE BENEFICIARIES AND HEIRS AT LAW OF WOUNDER SMITH BAKER, DECEASED.
You must also file the original of your response with the clerk of this Court.
You are further summoned to appear and defend the Petition to Determine Heirs at Law and Statutory Beneficiaries of Wounder Smith Baker Deceased, before the Chancery Court of Panola County, Mississippi on the 1st day of July, 2026 at 9:00 o’clock a.m. at the Panola County Courthouse in Batesville, Mississippi, to show cause, if any you can, in Cause No. 54CH2:25-cv-00133-PL wherein you are a respondent, why Anthony House should not be declared the sole heir at law and beneficiary of Wounder Smith Baker deceased, pursuant to Section 91-1-27, et seq. of the Mississippi Code, and why such other relief prayed for should not be granted. In case of your failure to appear and defend, a Decree will be entered finding the above-named persons to be the
sole heirs at law and wrongful death beneficiaries of Wounder Smith Baker deceased.
