You have been made a Defendant in the above styled and numbered petition filed in this Court on February 20, 2026 by Kimberly Avant, Individually, seeking a determination of the heirs at law of Leila Irby Edmond, Deceased, and a determination of the identity of any and all persons or entities claiming a legal or equitable interest in the Estate of Leila Irby Edmond, Deceased. You are summoned to appear and defend against the complaint or petition filed against you for a determination of heirs and persons with a legal or equitable interest in this action at 9:00 o’clock a.m. on the 10th day of June, 2026 before Chancellor Percy Lynchard, Jr. in the courtroom of the Panola County Chancery Courthouse, 151 Public Square Batesville, Mississippi 38606, and in case of your failure to appear and defend, a judgment will be entered granting relief sought in the complaint or petition.
You are not required to file an answer or other pleading but you may do so if you desire.
